What happens to version 1.0?

Since 2008, we have been developing quite a number of cloud SaaS applications for our clients. Initially, we tried many popular frameworks but gave up all of them due to performance issues and painful configurations. Naturally, we started to build a framework that performs well and requires minimum configuration, and of course, supports multi-tenancy natively. Gradually, the framework became feature rich and bug less (if not bug free). This was version 1.0 of Athena Framework.

Many of our friends showed great interest in our framework, so we decided to release it under an open source license. Early 2011, we took out the framework and cleaned unnecessary dependency. We released Athena Framework under the business friendly LGPL license in Mar 2011, and versioned it 2.0.
